The story behind our Women’s Spring Summer 2016 range from the Urban Knit designer.
As the Urban Knit designer, I start the season’s research by looking at knitwear trends. Key points that were influential in this range were a flavour of sport mixed with a balance of fashion and luxury.
Including bold stripes, colour blocking, textures and luxury yarns, such as silk and linen blends helped to create this look.
A look to the footwear trends this season sees a big rise in sneakers being on trend. Slip on sneakers at an ankle skimming height is important.
Moccasin inspired heel’s, chunky soles and eye catching printed uppers. You don’t always want to show off your socks. So team these with a pair of our invisible socks for the perfect look this summer.

Looking at lifestyle trends, there is a big focus on the athleisure trend. Its fashionable to eat well and keep fit. Consumers are beginning to wear active clothing whether they are working out or not.
Social media shows Instagram’s of the perfect dish to eat. Or blogs on the latest work out class to attend. Active is right on trend.
We have added Pilates socks to our range this season. So why not try them out at your next Yoga or Pilates class?
